You will do this by partnering with various multi-functional teams like Sales, Ops, Marketing, Collections, Risk and IT teams. You will design and implement a front-end platform while working with the back-end storage systems for reporting and analysis and creative delivery mechanisms to consume data. You will also build and maintain the data ingestion pipeline to keep the metrics flowing into this platform.

What You’ll Do Day to Day:
Business: We will need your business acumen to locate opportunities and capitalize on them. You will deliver the right information, at the right time, to the right people, in the right channel – and help them make sense of it. You will have a track record of improving operational effectiveness and efficiency through analytics.
Data: At the core, you’ll need to be an expert in SQL to undertake data extraction, transformation and to generate great insights. You will Ability to design datasets and processes and have the vision to solve for tomorrow as well as today. Python and HIVE/Hadoop experience a plus.
Drive for Results: You have high standards and passion to succeed. Your personal excellence matters in the way you deliver complex analytical problems by working with the entire organization. You like to learn, are not afraid of making mistakes and learn fast to correct and retarget. Champion/challenger testing is in your DNA.
Analysis: You are not one to get stuck in “analysis paralysis”. You don’t let perfect get in the way of great, so you translate analytical findings to actionable recommendations that drive business outcomes.
Background & Experience:
- BS/Masters/MBA in Business, Math, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in consumer lending – within Operations, Collections, or Analytics.
- You are an expert in SQL – able to join different data sets for analytical purposes
- Your analytical mindset focuses quickly on key drivers and answers questions
- You can translate analysis into action plans to drive the business forward
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
