Jr. Agile Project Manager

LendingPoint is growing and we are looking for an innovative and tech-savvy mind to join our team. The Agile Project Manager reports to the PMO and is a core member of the project team to ensure cross-team collaboration in a matrix environment. The primary focus is on software development, but the PMO works with all business units on all projects, regardless of the IT involvement, so a successful Agile Project Manager should be able to work in either environment.

 

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a liaison between business and software development teams to ensure clear communication of business needs
  • Provide consulting services to any business unit in need of assistance with projects, even if not related to software development
  • Assist with requirement gathering exercises by asking probing questions
  • Understand and consult on system abilities from a user/high level; coordination with IT team to dig deeper into the feasibility study
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects from inception through delivery
  • Use JIRA and Confluence to document project requirements, decisions, and other important project information
  • Work closely with IT leadership to allocate development resources to the highest priority projects and maintain a clear forecasted workstream
  • Assist with coordination of user testing and training sessions with those most impacted by system changes
  • Provide high-level post-implementation support to end users following releases
  • Agile Certified (CSM, PMI-ACP, etc.) or PMP Certified
  • Experience using JIRA/Confluence for project management
  • Beginner/Intermediate Salesforce knowledge
  • 3+ years project management experience
  • Working knowledge of Agile project management methodology
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to coordinate across departments
  • Financial service experience a plus
