August 18th is the biggest day for U.S. weddings in 2018
If you happen to see a lot of happy couples taking pictures surrounded by guests this weekend, don’t be surprised.
According to TheKnot.com, August 18 is the hottest — literally and figuratively — day for weddings in the United States in 2018. Well, at least it’s the most popular among users of TheKnot. So it’s not exactly a scientific finding. But it is an interesting indicator on when we like to get married.
Weddings are huge and we keep making kids who grow up into young adults who absolutely must have that dress or that beach wedding or that quiet celebration with family. And, unsurprisingly, the more temperate months win out over February.
According to TheKnot, these are the dates to say “I do” in 2018:
1. August 18, 2018
2. October 20, 2018
3. October 6, 2018
4. September 22, 2018
5. September 15, 2018
6. October 13, 2018
7. June 23, 2018
8. May 19, 2018
9. June 16, 2018
10. June 2, 2018
If you have a wedding on August 18th, Best Wishes! And if you have a date coming up a little later, we can help with the planning. Be sure to check out our great posts about planning a wedding on a budget.
